It is the year 2096. GeneCo still rules with an iron fist under the new management of Eleonora Largo. Her rule has gone so far that she now controls the world. And when the world still needs their organs, there's no way they can complain. Eleonora rules stronger then even Rotti, and her Repomen have become a sort of second set of GeneCops. Someone makes her angry? She sends a Repoman to dispatch the person. Someone contradicts her on TV? Repoman.
And her rule was procured so soundly by the Z-strain epidemic, a disease linked to street Zydrate. Specifically, street Zydrate procured from a certain graveyard, one of GeneCo's dumping grounds. With so many scalpel sluts, GenTerns, and other members of society dropping like flies, GeneCo stepped in and started publicly executing Graverobbers. Graverobber's are on the run with Eleonora's hounds at their heels. A new rehab was opened for Zydrate addicts, but it slowly turned into a madhouse. Some were lucky (or unlucky) enough to escape from it. A new alternative to Z, Burliconium, has been released. It is more addictive, but has a less effective high. Addicts will take anything, however, and so the world just becomes more and more under Eleonora's control.
The world has become so bleak, so cold... but maybe there is hope.
This roleplay is set in Sanitarium Island, CA; the same city as the movie.

Seventeen Years Ago…
Only nine years ago, a sickness started that caused a world-wide organ failure epidemic. However, out of the tragedy, a savior emerges. GeneCo, a bio-tech company that offers organ financing. Within the ninety day limit of their contract, if anyone misses a single payment or defaults, GeneCo sends in the Repo Men--ruthless assassins sent to retrieve the organs that are GeneCo's property.
Rotti loves Marni more than any woman he has loved before, and Marni returns his affections… for now…
Through a friend, Nathan meets Marni, and is instantly smitten. Constantly, he wishes that there was something more between them.
Mag wants to see the world, no matter how bad it is…
So, in a world where surgery addicts are hooked on painkilling drugs, and murder seems to be sanctioned by the law, who's safe?

Epiphany
But what happens after revenge has been fulfilled…?
Sweeney never found out that his wife had lived through her attempted suicide, and thanks to her death by his hand, he would never know. The attempt on her own life had made her unrecognizable, and after the events that night, Mrs. Lovett made her move. Mr. Todd decided it was time to move on from Benjamin Barker's life and started a new life of his own. He married Mrs. Lovett and together they adopted young Tobias Ragg, who decided to keep their secret for the sake of his mum. A year later, the odd pair were blessed with a baby girl.
Now that little girl is all grown up. Her life is great and she is happy. Though she barely agrees with killing people to make pies, the girl is pulled into the plan. To make matters worse, she meets the great-nephew of the Judge Sweeney killed oh so many years ago... Meanwhile, the young man has a feeling that his uncle was murdered, instead of "mysteriously disappearing" like everyone says. He decides to investigate, and is close to unraveling the secret of the barber and the pie-maker and the young girl--whom he too has fallen for.
So will the murderous pair be stopped? Or will London continue to become the victim of revenge?
